Top 5 Wednesday: Fictional Items You’d Give As Gifts

This one was really difficult for me! I immediately had 3 but after that it kind of fell apart, so unfortunately I’ve had to go with nothing too unique. There’s lots of fictional items that sound really cool but also like they’d probably ruin someone’s life, but we’ll pretend it’s all great I guess. Or not, that could make this more interesting. Alright here we go.

The Firebird from A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray
Okay I know that the Firebird causes like all the problems but it’s also a real cool concept, gives you the ability to move between dimensions? That’s so awesome, it’d be so cool seeing the different ways that time has progressed in all the dimensions. Super awesome present, especially for someone who basically had no fear.

A Mechanimal from The Finishing School Series by Gail Carriger
I loveeee Bumbersnoot so much! I mean a little mechanical animal that you feed coal to keep running, and he can eat things to keep them safe in his tummy? Such a good present. It’s like a toy, a pet and a useful gadget all in one. I’d love to get one as a gift so why not.

Sonic Screwdriver from Doctor Who
Another self explanatory one. It’s the ultimate tool, does pretty much everything you need. Who wouldn’t want to get that as a gift?

A Remembrall from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
This one is pretty self explanatory, mostly because it’d be really useful for so many people. I’d be like Neville, I forget so much I’d never know what it was trying to remind me of, but for my friends that have slightly better memories, it’d be an awesome thing to have.

A Wand from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
So I realize that this only really is helpful if the person is a witch or a wizard, and you’d need to bring them to pick their own but like just imagine how great this would be. Like if you could just get a wand and it’d be so awesome and helpful and ugh. Yes.
