Love & Gelato is a quick and easy read that’s perfect for summertime. It features our main character Lina who is forced to spend her summer in Italy after her mother passes away in a way to get to know more about her mothers past. She’s given a journal that her mother kept while she was in Italy herself and the story takes off from there.

It’s full of beautiful Italian settings, cute boys and mysteries everywhere. It’s so easy to read and really difficult to put down once you’ve picked it up. It’s a book that I’m kicking myself for taking so long to finally read because I enjoyed it so much. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for a cute contemporary that has a few cliches, but is still so cute and well written that it really doesn’t matter. I can’t wait for the companion novel that comes out next year because this author is one that I will for sure be sticking with.
