Time for another holiday tag! I know that a lot of these have the same sort of questions but they’re all so much fun that I can’t help doing all the different tags! I’m trying to keep my answers a bit different for each post but my memory is trash so who knows how repetitive I’m really being. Anyways, let’s get into the fun questions! This tag was created by Richard @ The Humpo Show and I found it over at Adventures of a Bibliophile! I’m not tagging anyone because I don’t feel like it. At least I’m honest?
“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” – What book do you want to see under the Christmas tree?
I’ve said Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand the past few times this has come up so I’m going to be good and choose something else this time. I think we’ll go with Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. I’ve read all of her books, other than The Dark Artifices series so now that it’s out I think I might finally change that. I have Lady Midnight and can get the last one at work for 50% off so having the middle book would just make everything easier. Was that a long enough answer?
“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time” – What book that you’ve read this year did you enjoy the most?
I’ve thought about this one so much but I really think that it was Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson, I knew I’d like it but I didn’t realize just how much I’d love it.
Elf – What book unleashes your inner child?
The Finishing School Series by Gail Carriger. I don’t know why but that’s where my brain went, there’s just something so fun and free about those books?
“It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” – What book has the most festive look to it?
The versions of Harry Potter that have the sparkly spines. No question.
The Grinch – Your favourite villain.
I mean it has to be The Darkling doesn’t it?
The Holiday – Name your TWO favourite couples.
Okay okay okay I can do this! Will Herondale & Tessa Gray and Jem Carstairs & Tessa Gray. Honorable mention to Will Herondale & Jem Carstairs & Tessa Gray. Basically any combination of these three idiots and I’m happy.
What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?
Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi because it’s just such a fun and well written and beautiful book and definitely one of the best things I read all year!
