And time for another tag! I thought that I had already done this one but apparently not! This one seems fun but I’m also already intimidated by the first question so this should be fun. I stumbled across this one over at The Bookish Beagle so let me know if you decide to give it a go yourself!
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
I wish I was one of those people that had a super organized approach to my TBR books but I honestly just…don’t? I look at my shelf and know what I’ve read and that’s about it. I keep trying to make a master list but alas having books on different floors makes it too much work for me.
Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?
Print for sure! But I do have a decent amount of ebooks that I need to read because I prefer reading physical books.
How do you determined which book to read from your TBR next?
I kind of have a general list of things I want to get to the firs but it’s 100% mood reading that picks my books. I mean the list of things that are at the top of my TBR are also all determined by mood reading so there we go.
A book that’s been on your TBR the longest?
Most of my oldest books are downstairs and I don’t feel like getting up just yet so we’ll go with Beauty Queens by Libba Bray which I have owned for so very long. I keep meaning to pick it up but you know.
A book you recently added to your TBR?
The Impossible Girl by Lydia Kang. The cover is stunning and it sounds like a really intense and dark read.
A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
Uhhh probably The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry. I never remember what it’s about at all but that cover is just too good.
A book on your TBR that you never plan on actually reading?
I’ve actually gotten really good at getting rid of books that I don’t actually think I’ll read so there’s nothing that’s jumping out at me right now.
An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?
Other Words for Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin! I’ve talked about it so much but I literally can’t wait for it.
A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you?
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare which I do plan on reading in 2019!
A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
A book on your TBR that you’re just dying to read.
I’m super curious about Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf.
It’s currently only at 509! I went through it earlier this year and got rid of everything that I knew I didn’t actually want to read or things that I knew I couldn’t get anymore. I also haven’t been checking Goodreads as frequently as I used to so it hasn’t grown back up as quickly as it usually does.
So there we go! Just a quick post with some specifics about my TBR but it was fun to do! I’m actually working on a list of my entire TBR right now so I can try and keep track of it so look out for that later this month! Let me know if you do this tag and if there’s anything I talked about that I need to pick up immediately!
