Time for part two of my unhaul posts! I still don’t know how many of these I’ll have but I’ll just keep posting them until I cover all the books that are currently sitting in my basement. This list isn’t too confusing for me since I’m pretty much decided on where all of these books are going to end up, but I’d still love to hear your thoughts on any of them! I think that the layout of this post is a bit better than the last one but let me know what you think, and if you want to check out the first batch of books that I’m (probably) unhauling then the link is right here!
The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine
I read this one a while ago and it was, not good. I managed to get through it but something about the writing just felt so forced and so fake and I really didn’t like it. I just get a bleh feeling whenever I think about it so it can definitely go.
Cruel Beauty by Rosamud Hodge
I read this one a couple years ago and it was okay but not great? So I just don’t really need to keep it around.
Tangled Webs (Tangled Webs #1) by Lee Bross
I was so excited for this one when it came out and I read it immediatley and it was so disappointing. I ended up not liking it very much and it just makes me sad to look at it so I think it’ll go.
Tell The Wind and Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan
Another one that I was super excited for and then just let me down a bit. I did still really like this one, but it was also very mediocre? I don’t know because I really liked it but it also did nothing for me? I don’t know this is confusing but I also just don’t really like the look of it so it can go.
After the End & Until the Beginning by Amy Plum
I really loved the first trilogy I read by Amy Plum and there’s other books by them that I’m excited to read but unfortunately these ones just aren’t gonna do it for me. I did read the first one and I did like it, but I just don’t like dystopian stories and I feel no desire to read the second book soooo nah.
Gilt (Royal Circle) by Katherine Longshore
I’ve had this one for years and I’ve always thought that it sounded pretty good but I’ve just never picked it up. I think that I’d be more likely to actually read it if it was a standalone but I think it’s part of a series and I just don’t think that I’ll ever get to it. Which is sad because it sounds like the exact type of book I’d love.
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
I really love The Raven Boys and there’s something so magical about the way Stiefvater writes but I’ve just never felt like picking this one up and I’ve had it for years. I sometimes think about reading it but I’ve never actually done it so it’s just probably not gonna happen.
The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds #1) by Alexandra Bracken
Bought this one because of all the hype but I just don’t like dystopians so I’ve accepted that I can love Alexandra Bracken and not read everything that’s published.
Afterworlds (Afterworlds #1) by Scott Westerfeld
This sounds really interesting! But I just don’t think that I’ll ever feel like reading it! I don’t know!
The Program (The Program #1) by Suzanne Young
Hotel Ruby is one of my favourite books so I bought this one thinking I would love it too, but again, not a dystopian or sci-fi type of person. And it’s like a 6 part series? So I just don’t think I need to keep it.
