And here we are with part three of my unhaul series! I’ve really loved writing these because it’s helping me actually think about all these books and is really helping to solidify my decisions when it comes to getting rid of most of them but maybeeee keeping a few. I think this is the first batch with a couple books that I’m really torn on, so please let me know what you think about the ones that I haven’t read because I’m so conflicted. If you want to check out parts one and two then please let me know what you think of the books on those posts as well!
Prophecy of the Sisters (Prophecy of the Sisters #1) by Michelle Zink
So I read this one a few years ago and really really loved it but I never got around to carrying on with the series and at this point I know that I’ll never actually finish it or reread this one. It was good but I’ve missed my chance to finish it so away it goes.
Ruling Passions (Drake Chronicles #1-3) by Alyxandra Harvey
This is another one that I really loved, I read it during the height of the vampire craze when I was a teenager and I loved all the stories. I always meant to read more from this series/author but I always got confused at the bookstore so I never did read them. Now that I’m thinking about this one I might keep it because I really want a good vampire story. I don’t know.
The Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan
I read this one a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it but wasn’t blown away by it. It was really dark but not in a way that I really loved? It was just kind of eh for me so it can go.
The Cage (The Cage #1) by Megan Shepherd
Look, I have no idea why I bought this one or why I read it because it’s not the type of book that I really enjoy. So not surprisingly I didn’t really like it, I mean I didn’t hate it either but nah.
Tiny Pretty Things (Tiny Pretty Things #1) by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton
I bought this one on my 22nd birthday in Ottawa because it was my birthday and I was in Ottawa and I was excited! But I’m now almost 26 and I still don’t feel like reading it! Because I don’t really like contemporaries and I am very picky with the ones that I do want to read and unfortunately this isn’t one of those.
Ash & Bramble (Ash & Bramble #1) by Sarah Prineas
I’ve had this one for so long but I still haven’t read it even though I do think about reading it sometimes? I like retellings and this one does sound good but I don’t know if I’ll ever actually read it. I just don’t know. Uhhhhh help me.
Graceling (Graceling #1) by Kristin Cashore
I seriously think that I bought this book like 10 years ago and I still haven’t read it. I occasionally see people talking about it and how much they loved it and it makes me curious what it’s about but then I never actually pick it up or think about it. Ughhhhh.
Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick
I’ve only had this one for a couple years and I actually think that I’ve just decided to keep it so this is now useless but hey! Go me! I love historical fiction and this one sounds neat so maybe I’ll just give myself a certain amount of time to read it? Who knows, this is exciting though!
Unearthly (Unearthly #1) by Cynthia Hand
I bought this one forever ago because of the hype even though I don’t actually know what it’s about and don’t want to read it. I think it was on sale for $6 but it’s going now because I still don’t want to read it at all.
The Probability of Miracles by Wendy Wunder
This is one that I go back and forth on all the time because even though I’m not really a contemporary person, and I’m definitely not a sad contemporary person, this one sounds kind of interesting. I doubt that I’ll ever read this one but when I’m on one of those contemporary binges I might want to read it? It’s probably going though. I don’t know.
