Book Unhaul Part Seven

Untitled 8I’m pretty excited about this batch of books to unhaul! I’ve got some strong thoughts on a bunch of these are others I’m just eh about. Maybe I just like these covers together. Tough to say. But anyways, here we are. I’m thinking of putting all my maybe books in one spot and trying to see if I do end up wanting to read them. Might be worth a shot! But anyways, if you want to check any of the previous posts in this series then the link to all of those posts are right here! One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. (And once again we’re hoping that I remember to add some of these links when the posts go live and not expecting anything. Typical.)

Untitled 7

A Temptation of Angels by Michelle Zink
Read this one a few years ago, liked it, feel no desire to keep it on my selves. Pretty simple.

Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Echols
I write these posts from the bottom up so me saying “and again, I’m picky with contemporaries” doesn’t make much sense unless you’ve read this post from the bottom up. But hi yes hello I’m picky and don’t want to read this one. Okay great.

Faithful (Faithful #1) by Janet Fox
Once again, not into sad contemporaries, so it’s going.

Rook by Sharon Cameron
I was so excited for this one! But then I only managed to get like 70 pages in, and it was the longest 70 pages of my life and I knew there was no way I was ever going to finish this one because it’s just not good. So nah.

The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler
I wanted to want to read this one so bad. (Hopefully that makes sense) But I’m just so picky with contemporaries and I just don’t think I’ll ever pick this one up. I need to accept that and move on but wow it’s tough.

Thicker Than Water by Carla Jablonski
I read this one soooo long ago, like I was definitely still in elementary school so we’re talking at least 14 years ago. I really loved it at the time. It was dark and gritty and had vampires (kind of) and I felt so mature reading it. But looking back it’s just a bad book and I know that I’ll never read it again.

Everneath (Everneath #1) by Brodi Ashton
I picked this one up years after the trilogy was finished and when I heard some spoilers for the last book at a certain point it just put me off the entire thing. Just sounds like something that will annoy me so I’m good.

The Musician’s Daughter by Susanne Dunlop
I like historical fiction and I like this cover and that’s basically all I’ve got for why I haven’t gotten rid of it yet.

Balefire (Balefire #1-4) by Cate Tiernan
I’ve read a couple other books by this author that I really liked so this bind up seemed like a good idea. Still haven’t read it, but it does sound neat so I might still give it a try. Maybe.

Rock and A Hard Place (The Jamieson Collection #1) & Snapshot (The Jamieson Collection #2) by Angie Stanton
I read another book by this author, Royally Lost, and really loved it. It was super cute and super easy to read. I went out the next day and bought these two but I haven’t picked them up yet. I might at one point because they do seem decently cute, and sometimes that’s necessary.
