Christmas Cracker Book Tag

Untitled 4.pngIt’s been a while since I’ve done a tag and it’s been a really long time since I’ve come across a holiday one that I’ve been excited about. I came across this one after a bit of googling and it looks really fun so here we go!

Capture.PNGONE /// Pick a book with a wintery cover.
The first one that popped into my head was Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones, which is actually on my TBR this month so that seems fitting.

TWO /// Pick a book that you’re likely to buy as a present.
Probably some version of Harry Potter. The illustrated editions are stunning presents and the versions that are house colours are also really great choices. I’ve bought my best friend both of these at different times so it’s always a good idea.

THREE /// Pick a festive themed book.
Uhhh I’m blanking here so we’ll just go with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

FOUR /// Pick a book that you can curl up with by the fireplace.
I’m gonna go with The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare for this one! It’s such a cute and cozy mystery that doesn’t have too much angst so it’s just a nice and easy read.

I recently ordered A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison and I’m so excited to read it because it sounds like a really cute and meaningful middle grade story.

SIX /// Pick a book that’s so good it gives you chills.
It’s been a while since I talked about it but Lovely War is one of the absolute best things that I’ve ever read and just thinking about it makes me want to drop everything and read it again and again.

SEVEN /// Pick a book that’s going on your Christmas wishlist.
I wouldn’t say no to The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh. I’ve wanted to read this one since I first heard about it and I think that no matter what I’m going to get my hands on it so I can read it in January.

So there we go! A super easy tag but it was still fun to do! I’m not going to tag anyone, because I’m lazy, but if you end up doing it then please let me know because I want to see what everyone else picks!
