Since the year is coming to an end I’m trying really hard to finish up as much of my reading goals as possible, and I’m trying to plan everything as far in advance as possible so that I can fit in all the books that I want to read! I’m got some big plans for reading this weekend but I’m feeling optimistic about it so here’s a look at what I want to read today and tomorrow.
I currently have three books on the go that I want to finish, a couple of them are pretty dense but I’m still hopeful that I can get through them.
The first one that I know I’ll finish today is A Lesson In Thorns by Sierra Simone. I’m not loving it as much as everyone else seems to, but I am definitely still enjoying it and it’s a super quick read. I think that I’m just not really in the mood for a romance but I’ve already read 43% so I can speed through the rest of it in less than 2 hours I think. Then I want to finish up Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. It was supposed to be the classic that I read in November but I didn’t quite finish it so here we are. I think that I have just over 200 pages left, but if I buckle down I imagine I can finish it up. I also have To Marry An English Lord by Gail MacColl & Carol Wallace which I’ve been reading for quite a while now. I think I started it a few months ago but it’s taking a while to get through so I’m only at 33%. It’s a really interesting read, it’s just dense so it’s taking forever to get through. Another one that I probably just need to buckle down and finish though!
And if I can somehow finish all 3 of those, I also want to read When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore. It’s the last book by them that I still have to read and I know that I’ll absolutely love it so I just want to start it because I know that I’ll fly through it.
So that’s about it! I don’t know how much reading I’ll get done today, it’s my only day off until Thursday and I need to be an adult and do some things. I also need to get some posts written for this week but I think I’ll have some time tonight to get a decent amount of reading done. I always do the most reading on days that I work as well so tomorrow will be fine!
What are you guys reading this weekend? Trying to finish up anything specific? Or just reading whatever strikes your fancy?
