The releases this year are so good that I’m almost overwhelmed trying to pick the ones that I’m the most excited about. We’re only two months into the year and I’ve already got more books on my list than I would like, but alas, who can resist a good book. I managed to choose only five releases for February, but I have no idea how I’m going to narrow them down to the couple that I’ll let myself buy. I’ve got a while to decide though so we’ll just talk about my top picks for now!All the Stars and Teeth (All the Stars and Teeth #1) by Adalyn Grace
Okay firstly, can we talk about that cover? Because it’s one of my favourites that I’ve seen in a while. I also just love the sound of this one, there’s mermaids and pirates and magic and a princess! And so many fun things! I think I definitely need to pick this one up.
Ink in the Blood (Ink in the Blood #1) by Kim Smejkal
Look, if you’re giving me tattoo magic and a deity that’s out for revenge I’m gonna read it. I shouldn’t need to say more because hello? Yes.
The Queen’s Assassin (Queen’s Secret #1) by Melissa de la Cruz
I’ve yet to read a Melissa de la Cruz book that I haven’t liked and this one is a fantasy that’s about assassins! It’s honestly just another one that only needs a couple lines to sell me on it so there it is.
The King of Crows (The Diviners #4) by Libba Bray
This is the fourth and final book in the Diviners series and I can’t believe that it’s finally over. I read the first book in the series so long ago, and I’m about to read the third installment so it’s just weird that the last book is almost here. I don’t know if I’ll actually buy this one as soon as it’s released but I’m beyond excited to read it as soon as I finish the third book!
The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller
MAIN CHARACTER WHO WANTS TO MARRY A CHARACTER NAMED THE SHADOW KING THEN KILL HIM AND RULE THE KINGDOM HERSELF? I’m easy to please and honestly this is all I’ve ever wanted in a book. Will be buying this on release day.
